Transmission 897671 - Saviour

You are pulled into a dark room, there is no light save for blue a glow from whoever pulled you up. You hear a “hisss” sound as the hatch slides shut. It takes a few clicks for your eyes to adjust but eventually you can make out a figure clad in white armour kneeling next to you, the blue light is emanating from their shoulders and they wear a helmet with black visor. There is some kind of weapon in a holster on the right hip.

“OK Peep…whatever the hell number they gave you, listen up, and listen good and we may both get out of this without getting fried!”, the voice coming from the visor is synthesised and when it speaks a red line appears in a wave on the front of the visor to simulate speech from a mouth.

“My name is Saviour, I don’t have time to explain what is happening. I know you are confused, but you made it this far into that messed up Frick of a crazy fun house, so you must have some form of wits abo…” the voice is cut short as a high pitched siren begins sounding. “Frick!”

Hello Peep 1024,

“A Useful Peep will Thrive"

We have detected a non-compliance, this has greatly displeased us. Please return to the corridor to face punishment. You have 100 clicks to comply before you are hunted for permanent termination.

“Did you receive a transmission?” you goto answer when you realise that you have never actually spoken out loud spoken before, you try to say the words “Yes, they want to punish me”, however the sounds you actually make are “Meh, gree ry buuuut ku”. Saviour turns to you “don’t worry your vocal cipher is not calibrated properly yet, just nod your head for yes, shake for no. Now let’s get out of this hell hole”.

Saviour stands up and heads for a door in the corner of the room. They turn the blue light off and slowly open the door and peek through. You can see some yellow light pouring in through the crack in the door. Saviour turns to you, “It’s all clear, let’s move!”
